The Flights

My last night in the USA
Karaoke with Mat and Liz

I'm in London, waiting, waiting, waiting.... for my next flight... another 7 hours to Dubai, then 5 more hours to Nairobi. I arrive at 2pm Saturday afternoon to be picked up by shuttle, taken across the border and into the school by 7pm or so. I start teaching on Monday! I'm going to be a wreck.
Apparently, i'm sharing a room with someone called Janet. Been told I'm teaching maths, then told I'm teaching art... at one stage it was computing too, so not entirely sure what I'm doing.
I'm tired, cramped and generally sick of flying around the place. I was wedged into the middle of the centre seats with people either side and there was hardly any leg room, the guy next to me made it difficult to get out of the seat each time. However, I did watch a good movie called the constant gardener set in Kenya. A bit depressing but a good one.
It was fantastic to spend time with Liz and Mat, seeing as though they are staying in Florida another 2 years. I really needed the break we had.
