Some pics finally

It's taken me about 2 hours to upload 5 photos onto this page so I have to be really patient and hope the power doesn't go off in the process!!! Somewhere in the middle of this picture is a hippo and it's baby. This was a very exciting moment as they are not commonly seen in this area... a bit scary too as they are extremely dangerous and territorial.
Me pulling one of the most common cargo vehicles in Tanzania, the mkokoteni. These are used amidst the cars and trucks all through town and county roads... and yes it's only a person pulling! They are always loaded heavily and the man pulling is usually running (except uphill). It was hard work and the gardeners you can see thought it was highly amusing that a woman wanted to try let alone a white person!
