Off to the Jesuits

One of the suggestions Gemma made to source local music was to go to the Jesuits (a group of men waiting to be priests) and ask them for inspiration. The Jesuits have connections with a traditional music group from Uganda and they also have 'real' traditional instruments not just tin cans covered with smelly goat skins!
So, off I went one Sunday with Simon and the deputy principal here, Mr Ben. We travelled out to the back of nowhere (took ages) and Ben took us to the Jesuits' place.
This is Simon and Ben after the visit.
The beautiful gorge out the back of the Jesuits

The gorge... amazing

So, it took us a while to get there but much longer to get back again. The Jesuits seemed to know people who might know some other people that could help us... but not sure. Anyway, in all it was a lovely day and I met some really lovely people... but it was very tiring.
